Everything's relative..

Did a pm check today and the tech kept talking about "you younger patients". Given my age I found that hilarious but I'm pretty excited that there is a place on this planet where I'm considered young.

Attitude

Yes I have had to adjust my attitude a bit, instead of being irate and frustrated about the pm not being great for running I am grateful for how good it helps me feel the rest of the time. And everything looked great so I don't have to go back for 6 months. Yay!

I'm the only one not retired at my pm clinic, that makes me the baby at 46. And you are young at heart!

I bet you are like a ray of sunshine for your np and EP. I don't think mine sees too many who still work, they scheduled my implant without asking me If the date was ok. Turns out I was off that day but had a flight to San Diego that day so I had them reschedule.

congrats

Congrats on a good checkup! I sometimes think my EP thinks I'm just an old person that has all the time in the world and can sit on her duff all day when she isn't feeling good ha--well not really but sometimes I wonder Glad to hear you've made such good progress! Im just hoping soon that they'll be able to find out what's going on. I'm waiting until the 25th for another holter so hopefully after that they can come up with something. I am finding that I get REALLY sleepy when my rates go to low 40's

Yah!!!

Aging

I get the ma'am already. The door thing would be nice, not many parents teach their kids that anymore. I was so pleased when shopping with one of my sons and a woman commented on how well he'd been raised because he held open a door for her. They do actually remember some of what we taught them when they are grown.

Let's Hope that...

...you live long enough to have youngsters call you Ma'am, open doors for you & treat you w/ the deference due one of your age.

Further, May you live long enough for DIRT to call you Ma'am.

It's kinda nice! Betcha Smitty can tell you about it.

Congrats.

I have a well tuned pacer. I hardly know I have it. I am 76 year old, hike and camp alone in the desert. I have more energy than I have had in a long time. The only problem is my wife wants to have a knob installed so she can turn the pacer down.
