Hi im 20 yrs old, I just joined have a PM for about 2yr. Have a quick question just bought some Headphones "turtle beach" due to my happiness of finally owning some forgot about PM, I started thinking if they would cause any effect to the lead like tugging/pulling or anything, im not concerned with PM since I had it implanted below my ribcage almost stomache area that's far more then 6inchs of difference. thank you for any reply and taking the time to read my post

Virtually all home electronics are fine! The only time we need to be careful is industrial equipment.

The risk of magnets- and headphones don't have big enough magnets to matter- is not damaging the leads, it's temporarily putting the pm into test mode. The pm has a switch that is pulled closed if a strong enough magnet is too close. As soon as you get away from the magnet the switch opens and it goes back to full function, just like after we have it interrogated.
