Just had my pacemaker interrogated and my electrophysiologist told me my pacemaker had been re-set. This was during a long discussion about other issues relavent to my echocardiogram and amongst them being the possibility of needing a third lead; and I forgot to ask why a re-set was needed or done. Does anyone know the purpose of a re-set?
Thanks.

You know you're wired when...
You have an excuse for gaining an extra ounce or two.

Sometimes a device must be tuned a few times before it is right. My cardiologist said it is like fine tuning a car.
PM being re-set?

I've never heard that term before.
Do you get copies of your interrogations? If you don't, does your family doctor? As perhaps he/she could shed some light on this for you.
Better yet, just call your EP and ask so you will have some peace of mind.
And I would love to know that that term means:)
