I have had my pacemaker in for 10 years now and my nurse said its showing that it will last for another 2 years before a replacement has anybody else had 1 in that long before getting it replaced?

My daughter had hers for 15 years. Looks like the one she has now is only lasting 5 which seems strange to me.

As long as your leads are good, all they replace is the box. I had one lead replaced last time, the other original lead still works great and the other changes were just the box. Easy!!
