Hello Sunflower !
Are you exercising ? Sometimes when you exercise you get short of breath depending on how fast you walk or up a hill. Of course if you are out of shape, overweight, and many other factors. Put more details.

I have done lots of walking since my PM was implanted, but I often get out of wind walking up a hill.
I walk with my wife and prior to my surgery I could walk hills with no difficulty. Now I tend to lag behind her going up hill.
There could be many contributing factors, but I definitely think this is something that is worse some days and not others.
My wife and I have walked five half-marathons since the surgery and some days are worse than others five years later.

I have a well tuned pacer. I hardly know I have it. I am 76 year old, hike and camp alone in the desert. I have more energy than I have had in a long time. The only problem is my wife wants to have a knob installed so she can turn the pacer down.

Sunflower,
Could be. Depends on how fast you walk and/or how steep the hill? Or it could be anyone of a few hundred other things that may make it normal or abnormal. You will have to see the dr. for an answer if it is of concern to you.
