How tough is your PM/ICD?

I keep telling people that their PM/ICD has the same technology in it that the Mars Rover sent there a yr or so ago.

I stumbled across this link this AM, courtesy of a friend who has nothing better to do then sit at his computer all day, following a stroke several yrs ago that left him w/o use of his right arm or hand & he was a lousy 4 - fingered typist at best & is now reduced to use of two fingers on his left hand. (Think WE have problems?)

So watch this animation of essentially what our PM's are capable of withstanding & continuing to function through it all. We have a pretty darned good deal I'd say.

I have sent this link to myself to check it out & it functioned correctly.

My rep always says you could run my pm over with a bulldozer and not hurt it. I thought he was speaking figuratively lol

Did you ever see the video that used to be on Heartbeat International's website with the boy who was shot in the chest? The pm stopped the bullet and saved his life, and kept on pacing.

Bulldozer

Actually, you probably could if you did it right.

The ground loading of a bulldozer or, for that matter, an M1A1 Abrams tank at nearly 60 tons is less than that of the tire on a truck.

And - unless the tank is turning, the tread stays stationary while the vehicle moves atop the tread.
