nerve stimulation

When I bend over, sometimes a muscle in my side gets stimulated. Tech said a nerve passes close to one lead. Said it may go away when/if my settings are adjusted at 3 months. I'm 8 weeks post op. Not sure if this is same as your vibrations.

I get it too

Every now and then I will get the vibrations but to me it is normal. I have had my PM since 2004 and still get them every now and then. I do not think its something to worry about. they will start to fad away, but like I said I get that feeling every now and then but not that often anymore like I used to. If anything let your physician know about it for sure though. Good luck.

Me Too

I've had this happen before too. It doesn't happen too often, but it does happen, and it usually comes and goes in stages. I won't feel it for a month or two, then all of the sudden, I'll feel it several times a day for a few days in a row. Then it goes away again. Sometimes it happens when my tummy is full (and bigger).

The first time it happend I couldn't figure out what it was. Since it stopped, I didn't worry about it. When it came back again, I still didn't worry about it knowing it would go away again. Every time it comes back, it always goes away, so it doesn't bother me.

One of my cardio docs said the same thing Reboot1212 said regarding one lead being really close to a nerve and sometimes it gets stimulated. I also have another nerve that gets stimulated that affects one of my lower arms and hand. It's weird, but it doesn't cause too many problems. The doctor warned me when I woke up that this might happen because of all the nerves in there, and the amount of lead wire that's in there. Others have mentioned this on this site as well. So, take comfort in knowing you're not alone, and it's okay. Do check with your doctor so he/she is aware though, just in case they don't agree with us that it's okay.

They may be able to fix yours with a setting change, but there is a chance you may just have to get used to it. Just knowing it's okay and that others have it too, might help you relax about it though. Hopefully, that helps.

Good luck, and remember to check with your doctor just in case.
