Can you dislodge a lead by twisting?

Has anyone dislodge a lead by twisting? I have had my pm for about 2 weeks now, and the doctor released me to go to work and drive. Yesterday was the first time I drove, and when I was backing out of a parking place, I had to twist quite a bit to see a car behind me. From about 10 min after that all night and today off and on I have had a a sharp pain in my upper left chest and neck. I don't want to be the one to over react to every little pain, but I have never had a pain hit and stay around like this. How do you know if you have dislodged a lead?

Pull a lead?

That would be one tough act. There is a lot of slack in the leads & for you to pull one by twisting like that you would have to stretch out all that slack. Tough to do.

You would not feel like you do - it would be most likely the way you felt prior to the PM being installed.

Matters not what happened - this is an unknown to you & concerns you - call the Dr. & have him/her look you over.

It's more likely you pulled something or aggravated tissue that hasn't healed yet. If you dislodged a lead, you would feel like you did before you got the pm because it would no longer be pacing. When in doubt, give the dr a call, but I'd probably try ice and taking it easy for another day or two and see how you feel.

muscle spasms

So....I need to know if it is normal to have muscle spasms after a pm is put in. In my earlier post I had wondered if I had pulled a lead out,of the pain in my chest and neck. I had VERY sharp pains in my upper left chest that lead in a very rushed visit to the local emergency room. The er doctor here at the local hospital gave me muscle relaxers and pain med. and told me that I was having a muscle spasm and that it is normal to have these. It is just my body getting used to the pm. Has anybody else had this, and how long did it last? This has gone on for about a week and a half now, and I getting REALLY tired of the pain, and never knowing when it is going to hit. Ice and heat doesn't seem to help. The only way I get any relief is to either lay on my right side, or lean way over to the right if I am in a place where I can't get laid down.
