Does anyone know if there are symptoms when you are 100% dependent and only have 3 months left on your pacemaker?
I'm starting to feel really tired and I have minor chest pains but I'm not sure if you can start feeling sick so soon. Input needed please!

They said worst case scenario 3 months but it could last a year. I have to get checked again in two months to see how things are and will be seeing my cardiologist this month I hope. They're trying to fit me in their schedule.
ERI Mode

I was told that I had 3 to 6 months left on my battery. but after a month I was starting to feel very tired so I went back for a check up they told me i had already reached my ERI Mode and would need to schedule my replacement soon but still had a little time before it reached EOL (end of Life) well what happens is the one lead stops working and your only using one lead at a consistent pace which can bother your regular heart rate. I ended up becoming weak and dizzy, having irregular heart rhythem. I passed out from having a low blood pressure which they said could happen in ERI mode. My pacer was replaced two days later as I was admitted to the hospital when I passed out. Go have it checked soon.

I am no expert, but I believe that without the defibrillator that I have, I would be dead.
3 months to what?

There are two modes at the end, each lasts approx 3 months. The first is ERI, elective replacement mode. At this point, it's fully functional, think of it as the gas light on the car. At the end of ERI is EOL, end of life. At this point, it cuts back function. Rather than being fully responsive as needed, it will generally pace at a flat rate such as 60. If you pace 100%, you will feel it as soon as it goes EOL. My dr gives me 3-4 months notice that I'm going into ERI so I can get it done well before EOL. I'm on my 4th now and have always done it during ERI, I pick a date sometime in that 3 month window. Some insurance requires EOL.
I'd call and ask if you are already ERI. Also, see if your hr is going up with activity or if it's staying steady. If it's staying steady, there's a good chance you are already EOL so push to get it done asap.
And find out why you're having chest pain!!!! Any chest pain should be checked out right away even if you think you know what it is.
