New member here. I have a Medtronic Adapta pm that was implanted (left side) Jan. 2011. No issues with the pm to report at this time. My question is about my left shoulder. It's been almost 2 years since implant and my left shoulder is still very weak. I've been doing numerous different types of upper body workout, and mid-way through my reps I always end up with this intense sharp pain in my shoulder. It takes about 5 min before it goes away, and it's not the normal muscle burning fatigue type pain. It's like a being stabbed in the shoulder with a knife pain. I'm a 34 year old female, so I'm not looking to get buff, just want to balance myself out. Any suggestions? And anyone else experiencing this?

I just want to share about the quality of life after my pacemaker, and hopefully increase awareness that lifestyles do not have to be drastically modified just because we are pacemaker recipients.
