Hiking holiday

I'm going to Switzerland this summer. Can anyone give me any advice about how my pacemaker might re-act to strenuous walking at high altitude.

The altitude won't have any affect on your pm! It's possible that the underlying reason why you have the pm may make you more sensitive to the altitude. I live at sea level, my parents live at a high altitude and we love to hike and ski. I usually take it easy the first day there, hydrate well, then the second day go do whatever I want.
