Had PM implanted Feb 2012. Have had AF for 10 years. Controlled heart rate and BP with meds and exercise. PM eliminated the need for BP medications but post surgery sensations such s tingling and vibrtating are very bothersome nd ths cardiologist and family doctor have no expianation. However, the sensation is real and is very sleep disruptive. Has anybody experienced these sensations?

I have just got my pacemaker placed on Friday and definately notice tingling sensations to my left breast (pacer placed in left axillary area). This only happens occasionally and the best way I can describe it is the sensation you get when placing a nine volt battery to your tongue without the pain...lol! I guess I just presumed this was normal but I'll definately be mentioning it to my doctor and pacemaker rep next week. If I get any answers I'll let you know!

I use to feel my whole body vibrating while a sleep. I would be aware of it but would mostly be like an oserver watching it from a distance. Researched it on the net and after seeing all kinds of weird explanations just quit worrying about it. It has been a long time now since that has happened. Hope you can find an answer.
