Feeling sick

I'm sorry you are having such problems. Needing a pacemaker or ICD is a shock to us all. It takes time to get used to the idea but the pacemaker is your friend and silently monitoring your beating heart just in case your heart has a mind of its own again.

You should make an appt. and let them check it out for you. If it is not the device or leads you may just be getting sick or maybe nervous about your new pacemaker (which is understandable).

Did you not have some sort of anesthesia during your surgery? Just so you know, the doctors do not look to open up the surgical site again unless it is absolutely necessary. That seems to be a last resort.

Keep us posted and I hope you get some answers.
Take care.

At age 20, I will be getting a pacemaker in few weeks along with an SA node ablation. This opportunity may change a five year prognosis into a normal life span! I look forward to being a little old lady with a wicked cane!
