Hi,
I had PM surgery in May. Some weeks ago I began to have pains on the incision site--stinging, stabbing like pains! Has anyone else had this? How long did they last?
Thanks for responses.

I had this and went to the doctor. But, everything checked out fine and it was nothing.

I had this, still have it, and my EP said it was from cutting the peripheral nerves at the incision site.

I love this new part of me, and very, very thankful that this technology exists and I know that it's all only going to get better over time.
get it checked out

Any sudden changes should always be checked out. It could easily be the nerves knitting back together, that's what it feels like, but it's always best to have them look at it. Keep an eye out for fever, heat, new redness, streaking, oozing, those are all signs of infection.
