Anemia

Has anyone had anemia? I am wondering if it might be related to my heart problems. It started right before I got my pacemaker.

Hi. I discovered I have Anemia 7 month before doctor decided to implant a pm. My hemoglobin was 6 and Iron was 8 which is nothing. I took Iron tablets and injections and felt better then I discovered after a chest pain that the muscle of my heart is weak and myEF is 30%. I don't really know if this is hapend due to the Anemia or it's genetic issue.

I have known about my anemia for a few years. Growing up my grandma always thought I may be anemic but I was never actually tested for it until about a few years ago.

I found out at 19 which was 2010 I needed a pacemaker and just got it put in 6 weeks ago. Since the pacemaker I havent had my blood tested but I assume I need to start taking my iron pills because I can tell my body is low on iron
