dreams, sleeping, slow heart at night

Hi everyone....I had my pacemaker implanted 11 days ago (for Mobitz type 1 AV block and my heart sometimes went very slow at night, down to 27 bpm).

I felt great before and still feel great!

BUT the only difference so far is that I am back to remembering all the details of my dreams when I wake up in the morning?

For a long while previously (maybe even a year or 2 or more) I had still been having dreams but as soon as I woke up I could remember nothing, apart from a geneal feeling such as whether it was a scary or crazy dream etc.

Any thoughts anyone? :-)

Dreams

I've also been having very bad dreams at night but there's a lot on my mind during the day. Perhaps you are experiencing a lot of anxiety and it's showing up in your dreams!

thats so weird!

It would be ni ce if maybe you had a premonition or something with winning lottery numbers and you remembered them, played them and won!
Maybe youre in really deep sleep and that's why you are having such vivid dreams that arent normal for you.
Im on and off,and having alot on your mind I agree may set you into them when you sleep more so.Just a guess....

Your circulation is improved with a pacemaker....but maybe it's not good to remember dreams? Especially the scary ones? LOL

Certain heart medications produce very vivid dreams....mine are very frightening sometimes...those I would like to forget..

Effect of low HR on dreams

A HR as low as 27 can deprive your brain of blood which can have all sorts of undesirable effects. While not remembering disturbing dreams may seem like an advantage the side effects may not be.

I like my dreams. In fact a few nights ago I woke up during a wild one. I actually managed to turn over and resume it. First time that's ever happened.
