Hello fellow pacemaker buddies!
I was fitted with a new pacemaker in my left shoulder around last Christmas after previous complications with my old one. But not long after I had recovered from the surgery I began having very odd muscle palpitations; my pec muscles literally jump around under my skin and you can actually see the area by the pacemaker pulsing, my heart starts racing and my breath feels a bit short.
I first thought it only occurred when I exert myself for a long duration, for instance when taking a long tiring walk. But yesterday I was going up the stairs when it happened again, it only does it for a few moments and it stops sooner when I stand still for a few minutes.
Is this quite common? Or could there be an electricity leakage causing my muscles to dance about? Could I have been holding my shoulder in a way that complicates the wires?
Thanks for any advice.

I had similar experience - like something tapping in chest, weird but not painful. Was annoying. EP had tech change some settings until I no longer felt it. Forgot the explanation they gave but it was effective after simple 20 minute interrogation and adjustment. Give the EP a call!
You know you're wired when...
You have the perfect reason to show off your chest.

I live an extremely normal life now and my device does NOT hinder me in any way.

I'd get it checked, make sure nothing weird is going on. Good luck!
