Pacer dependent after av node abaltion

Hi everyone

Just a little update..after my cryoablation I had done on march 20th my junctional tachycardia got quite a bit worse,(the dr also diagnosed me with pacemaker syndrome after the cryo) so after the cryo they went in and did a RF abaltion on april 9th and thought they had it fixed. 2 days later the arrythemia returned with a vengence. I was feeling so bad, my color was grey, my heart was not profusing well, and I really felt like I was not going to be able to hang on much longer if they didn't do something very soon.

On wednesday (4/24) they took me back into surgery, I was under the impression up until surgery that they were still going to do try to find the area causing the arrythemia but when he came over to talk to me he said that after looking through everything and my ecg he had decided to do the av node ablation, he said I had been through enough! I had 6 ablations and a pacemaker change out in 14 months. I cannot tell you have GREAT I feel!! I feel good and normal, my chest doesn't hurt anymore, I can walk without feeling I'm going go pass out and from what other people tell me, my color is much better. I do not have any regrets about any of the decisions I have made and either does my dr. I also feel like I have so much energy that I could almost run a marathon!!

The only issue I'm having is some burning in my chest but I'm guessing that is just irration from the past 3 surgeries and ablating.

The dr also told me that I do have a back up escape rhythm of 35 which makes me relieved so at least I know I have something if my pacemaker would fail.
