varapermil
Went and seen my dr today, he looked at my strips from my event monitor and of course they were all junctional. I am going to try varapermil to see if it might help since its the only drug that I haven't tried yet. If it doesn't work or I can't tolerate it he is going to go forward with the av node ablation as I have slim to none on more options so this is my last hope!

I am just now 40 but have had these blackouts all my life. I am thrilled with the pacer and would do it all over again.

Hi Daisy!
It's slowed my the AV-node down and put me into heart blocks, which was a problem at the time, because I had the single-chamber pacemaker only. Since you have the dual-chamber, it might work well for you. Good luck!
Also, I went through some of your old posts, and found you mentioning Multaq and betablockers, but you never replied to my question, if you had tried Propafenone or Flecainide. Those drugs bought me about two years of time, they worked really well for a while. So, if you haven't tried those before, maybe another option.
Best
