Hello all,
I have seen several posts in regards to heart rate monitors not working properly due to having a pacemaker. I was wondering if anyone with a pacemaker has used the fit bit monitor that tracks, steps, sleep etc. ?
Thanks,
Caryn

Great name!
I use a Fit Bit and I have an ICD and have had no problems with it. Like you said, it does track steps, calories burned, stairs, miles and sleep. I like mine alot. I don't use it all the time for sleep but it noted for me that I do wake often during the night (which I already knew)...hip issues. I find it's fun to use and makes you challenge yourself! I actually won mine...which was pretty cool.
I also use a Polar Heart Rate monitor as the Fit Bit does not track HR.
Let me know how you like it if you do decide to get one.

I feel so blessed to have this little gem implanted in me. When I think of the alternative it is quite overwhelming sometimes.

I use the Scosche you can get them at 24hr fitness or even on line and i love it. I use the iphone app Digifit and they are Fantastic and work 100% . And you can save your info on the app and show your Dr if anything looks bad or worries you
