This is to thank all of you that responded to my previous message. The Dr. that said limit my golf or had reservations was the surgeon. I went to my cardiologist today and he said after two months resume anything you want including golf. Really no limitaions. So it was a relief to know things will get back to normal. Again thanks for the response.

the reason they say not to play golf for a while is to allow the leads to settle in place and the fast swining of the arms may dislodge them,
after round6-8 weeks this wont happen and you can go back to playing, what i suggest to my patients is they take it steady for the first round as the arm may be a bit stiff as well, and build up over the first 9 holes.... dont go out on the first few and try to hit the ball too hard
