Has any one had experience with a heart monitor that works with the iphone (and a pace maker). I have been looking at the wahoo for iphone and it looks pretty good. You can get a back up battery pack for it and a bicycle mount. I just don't know if a pacer will effect it. Are there other models that work with the iphone?
My Garmin doesn't work and I tried a Polar and I didn't like it.
This is kind of a long shot but is any one here going to the Senior Games in St, George Utah in Oct.?

I got a wahoo blue heart monitor last week to wear as a chest strap for inputting heart rate data to my iphone 5. It would not work on me but it did work on two other people. I have asked wahoo bout pacemaker interference but no response yet.
Were you successful in making the wahoo work? or could you share your experiences with what you have done?

I have had my pacer since 2005. At first it ruled my life. It took some time to calm down and make the mental adjustment. I had trouble sleeping and I worried a lot about pulling wires. Now I just live my life as I wish.

Hi Jack,
I have an android phone and my hubby put two different heart rate monitors on it. They were both free downloads and one is Cardiograph which works pretty well and the other is Instant Heart rate which I don't like as much.
I also don't like the Garmin because it wouldn't detect my pulse.
