I am 37 years old and have had a pacemaker for 36 years, my most recent one is eight years old. I have been through three new cell phones recently, they keep malfunctioning. Anyone hear of a correlation with old ish pacers and new cell phones?!

All Blackberry Bolds - kind of random. I called Medtronic and they haven't heard of it but also said it could happen. They test other things on their devices but not the other way around.

Have never heard of that! I seem to kill batteries faster than anyone I know- mostly cell phones and ipods. I figure it's just bad luck or I've dropped them too many times, never considered it might be the pm.
Were all the phones the same model?
