Tingling sensation

Today, whilst doing an ocean swim (along a beach), I got this strange tingling (almost electrical) sensation (after about 1500 metres), which made me feel kind of faint. It passed and then a few hundred metres on it reoccured, so I exited the water as fast as I could. I otherwise felt fine and up to that point I was going "swimmingly". I frequently do this swim and have never had this sensation before. It was kind of scary. I have had my PM for about 9 mouths and am age 68.
Is anyone aware whether this sort of event could occur as a result of some sort of PM or related wiring issue? I am otherwise healthy and am on no medications.

wires

It's unlikely it's the wires after this long. It's possible it's the programming. Do you swim often? It could be unused muscles around the pm, that would explain the tingling but not the faint feeling. I'd call and ask to be checked. Tell they what day and time the episode happened and see if the pm recorded an event.
You know you're wired when...
You can hear your heartbeat in your cell phone.
