As long as your incision is closed up- and it should have been weeks and weeks ago- it's fine.

It is almost all ways better to ask

My doctor encouraged me to swim, and I love it. I rub vitamin e oil on my incision to help heal the skin. At first I was a little self conscious to swim, but the scar has really healed, and by all means swim. I think it is the best exercise for the upper body.
