Your Arm

Hi SuperSale, unless your doctor has told you otherwise, you really need to get that arm moving in all directions. You can get "frozen shoulder" if you dont start exercising your arms. Also, riding your bike and walking are great to be doing.
Good luck, Cathy

Hi SS ... you have now had your PM for almost 10 weeks..Most people walk IMMEDIATELY after having a PM. . You should be walking now. Is there something you are not telling us ?'

Also cycling is no big deal.... do it now............or is your arm problem stopping you from cycling ? Try raising your arm up to the point of pain and then a little further each time It is crazy that you are asking questions about your arm so long after the implant

Maybe a physiotherapist could help you.

Just move the arm, anything will do. You are past the point where you need to be careful, go ahead and get out the bike.

Should be fine

I'd start out easy and increase your workouts gradually. It is time to get out and start doing the things you like to do.

Bike riding can be a little stressful at first, but if youlike to swim I find that is a good way to strengthen the chest muscles and arm muscles. Then the bike riding is not a problem.

I like to walk, and then cool off in the pool. I float on my back (which is very relaxing) and then use my arms to float across the pool. In fact I just swam a half mile yesterday for the first time since my surgery.

Good luck
