sharp stabbs in chest

im a 33 yr old woman who has a dual chambered pacemaker now for 2 years..i have felt amazing up till now im having this sharp stabbing in my chest the pain is right where my left breast is and a little over to the side about where my lead wires would be.if its not a sharp jab that brings me to tears its a slow ache.nothing is making this better nor worse.im uncomfortable and this all started last sunday.i since then have had several tests a chest x ray a cat scat scan to rule out a PE they also have done a device check and said everything looks great ..im paceing 45% of the time mostly in the top chamber. they turned my sensor off to see what would happen and my heart rate droped into the 40s.sensor was turned back on.it is now sunday again and i was hoping that the pain would stop it hasnt..im uncomfortable and am open for any suggestions that anyone may have.....i have a 4 hour stress test on the 26th so imhoping this would help but just not to sure thanks....

not heart related

well i have thought many of things pertaining to this and i have come up with its not my appendix since i dont have one,its not my gallbladder since i do not have this either, its not my uterus since i had a full blown hysterectomy .so im thinking if the pain literally is in my middle to left chest area that im not thinking it could be my big toe.i do appologize for the scarscasim but im frusterated..i dont believe that its my heart its self as much as i think its the pacemaker and the area to which its implanted im guessing the stabbing isnt where my pacemaker is as much as its where the wires are ..thanks for your suggestion

Hi! Hope your appt. on the 26th gives you an answer to what you are experiencing. Have you considered the pain may not be heart related? Wish I could be of more help. Take care. Hopeful Heart

don't think you are going nuts! I've been feeling the same sort of thing for about 5 weeks now (have had PM for over 20 years) Was just in the hospital for three (3) days because of pains that WOULD NOTA GO AWAY in the left chest area close to PM. All kinds of test done and determined to be MUSCULAR/SKELETAL (beats me). Blood pressure and pulse dropped and when I got back to NORMAL the pain was GONE.
Hang in there, they will find the problem !!!!
