I had pacemaker implanted in march 12 because I was passing out from low heart rate. Have followed Dr orders since. No problems until today. I have been back exercising steady (running or walking up to 2 miles 5 days a week or 30 min on elliptical) for about 1 month. Yesterday did 40 min on elliptical and ran 1/4 mile. Today same thing. However, was tired and felt a little dizzy about 1/2 way through. Kept going. Got home and my heart has felt like it is racing for the last few hours. Not sure why? Any ideas.

If you feel bad while working out, it's best to stop until you can find out why. I would make a note of the time and date it happened then ask to have the pm interrogated. They can tell you if it was pacing at the time or not. It's likely your settings need adjusted.

Check the equipment you are using some of them may interfere with your pacemaker causeing the PM to speed up...hope things get better

Have you taken your pulse? How fast is your HR? Hopefully by now it's settled down. If it hasn't slowed down and you're having any symptoms I would get it checked out. If you're fine now I would bring it up with your cardio if it happens again. Not sure why that would happen.
As far as feeling dizzy during exercise did you take your HR at the time? Were you below your max setting or is it possible you exceeded it and the PM was pushing your HR back down within range? That happened to me several times when I started exercising again and needed to have my settings changed. Just a few thoughts off the top of my sleepy head :)
Take care,
Heidi
