have you ever felt....

crappy after a check-up?

My 6 month check up was Monday afternoon and that evening I felt my heart beating hard. Tuesday morning I awoke at 3 am with my heart racing. Then for the rest of the day, I felt overly tired and spacie. I know the tiredness was due to awaking at 3 but I couldn't find anything to help me wake up!

I felt much better this morning. I just wondered if anyone else had this experience?

I wish you all well tonight!

Hi Natalie,
Yes I always feel crappy after every checkup. usually just the same day as the checkup, I just put it down to them doing the tests - turning the pm down then testing the high rate,
I just make sure I haven't got anything planned for after the check.

Oh, I'm so relieved I'm not the only one.

Will that be the case at the 9 month check up too? Does it eventually get better by affecting me less and less?

On the other hand, I never felt

worse after my check-ups. Well we will forget the time the tech from the company came in & turned down my PM too fast & I am 100% dependent. Understand he doesn't work for that company any more. But on a happier note, I'd check with the clinic/Dr's staff & see what they say. You may be more sensitive to the changes they make during the testing but best to check.Hope that helps,

Janet

Sometimes They do stuff you don't ask

It happened to me several times. Pacemaker technician love to change settings without telling you anything about it not looking at your circumstances but go with the general rule. So now every time I go I ask them what they are doing and what have they done at the end.

I also felt the same after a mammogram yesterday!

You know you're wired when...

You invested in the Energizer battery company.

I finished 29th in London in 2 hours 20 minutes 30 seconds which is my fastest with or without a device so clearly it didn’t slow me down ! I had no problems apart from some slight chaffing on my scar - more Vaseline next time.
