Hi,
I have been recovering from brain surgery after I had life threatening bleeding after a fall. I have been on Eloquis for a few years after receiving a pacemaker. I am literally blessed to be alive! I fell through the cracks of the system and suffered headaches and problems for almost a month.
I worried now because the only medicine I'm taking to prevent clots is baby aspirin. I have an appointment with my cardiologist in a few weeks. Any input on how I should approach this problem would be greatly appreciated. I really worried about bloodclots.

You know you're wired when...
Your pacemaker receives radio frequencies.

Teaching Hospital?

I think you need a team, your situation is different than most, a cardiologist knows about your heart and how it pumps. Electrophysiologist understands heart rhythm problems.
You need a Neurologist, also there are specialists who only deal with blood and how it acts in our body. Someone like that might be who you need to see. I would find a good teaching hospital and start there. Your situation is very complicated and you need very specialized help from someone who has a lot of experience treating your type of condition. I would not let anyone experiment on me, I suggest you adopt the same attitude.
