I am going see the pacemaker technician tomorrow and want some more information before I talk to him. Is there someway to know when or if your pacemaker should be turned up or down? Faster or slower? Does anyone know if there is an 'average' number or if everyone is different?

at first I was set at 50 and was always tired but I tolerated it as I did not know any different. Finally ten years or so later an EP MD increased the rate to 70 and I immediately felt like a normal human. Bottom line, if you are not feeling good when you do you normal activities, see the Dr to modify your settings.

I have had my pacer since 2005. At first it ruled my life. It took some time to calm down and make the mental adjustment. I had trouble sleeping and I worried a lot about pulling wires. Now I just live my life as I wish.
