Pull ups, push ups and protein powder

Hi all :)

I've had my pacemaker since 2010 now. At the time I used to exercise and workout constantly. Haven't been working out since.

These days, i'm really putting my mind into dieting and exercising/workouts...so i wanted to ask for advice:
- Are there any recommendations against:
1. Pull ups
2. Push ups
3. and whey protein powder ?

Workouts

Been doing planks instead of pushups --
They say pushups and pull ups are out--
And 20 lbs an arm curl
Squats sit ups
Ran five miles two days ago
All seems okay
Got PM 4 weeks
But was running and lifting much more beforehand

My doc says I can run a marathon in 6 weeks

But probably wait until Medtronics Marathon in Minneapolis this fall
