pacemaker contra-indications re seat-belt and airb

seat-belts only or air bags, please which is best in a crash if have a pacemaker (100% paced). Many thanks for last message replies regards forms of travel.

Anything that keeps you from flying out the window or smashing your head on the steering wheel is best in a crash. Protecting the pm is secondary. It's possible but not likely to damage the pm in a very bad accident, but in that case you'd be much worse off if the seat belts and airbags were not there.

The airbags are already in place and ready just in case. Now, just buckle yourself up and enjoy your trip!

I'm 100% paced and dependent too. I wouldn't think of not wearing my seatbelt. There are several things out there for PM wearers to make the seatbelt more comfortable. Google "Pacemaker seatbelt" and see what you can find.

I'm with Tracy. Saving your life is first. Protecting the PM is secondary.
