Icd

well here I am back asking a question..Im having problems after 2 1/2 years...I can feel my heart jumping and skipping all the time...I did mow the yard the other day with a self puller lawn mower and I was fine I thought then I quit and sat down and my heart was jumping skipping and going crazy If finally stoped doing those things and I began to feel better...I gues the pacemaker got it straightened out...well now I get out of breath if I do something and I also feel all the heartbeats...Im on digoxin and troprol xl ..I beginning to wonder if its the digoxin as it seems to get worse after I take it...Going in the morning to have the icd checked to see if something is causing this with it..I have cardiomyopathy and left bundle branch block I have heard that a lot of folks die about 5 years after they are diagnosised with this so I am scared....don't like to hear that..Anyone else on digoxin and troprol xl and having any trouble...I hope to hear from someone on this

Anniesu, where did you hear that? It doesn't matter, you are not going to die after 5 years. Get that thought out of your head.....that's an order. :-)

I was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, LBBB, SSS,
EF of 24%, enlarged heart over 6 years ago. I am still here and doing very well!! My EF is 50% now and has been for years.

I am on heart meds but not those so I can't comment on them.

I never say never so it may be connected to the lawn mower somehow, even if just from the vibration. Maybe something with the sensitivity setting.

Try and get a good nights rest and let the Doctor figure it out in the morning. You will be ok...don't panic.
