My pacemaker, a Medtronic EnRhythm has caused problems for the past 6 weeks. My heart rhythm problems were, at first, thought to be caused by a new generic medication, but after a quite severe episode, a read-out of the pacemaker was done and it had gone to default and was causing rhythm disruptions.
The failure is in the battery coating and is happening in about 10%
of the implants. Be warned.

Thanks for sharing this information as I'm sure a lot of us will be due for replacement sooner or later and not all doctors are that forthcoming with this type of information - if they even know about it.
10% is probably a low number, but when you're in that 10% I can just imagine just unhappy you are.
So, in your case, what, if anything, is going to be done?
