It wasn't Boot Camp, my error

It was Body Combat and it wasn't for me. I went to the class with my friend. It incorporates karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai, whatever that is.

It's all fighting moves and high kicks, leg kicks and side jumping. We lasted about 10 minutes using the "options" for the jumping. My hips are really sore and reminding me all day. Not good for a recently replaced hip and 2nd bad hip with arthritis and bone spurs. Now I know. I'm looking to add something else to my routine but having trouble with breathing stamina on the elliptical lately.

So I'm feeling a little defeated today. Not the end of the world but maybe it's time to act my age?......Nah.

I'm impressed you even tried that! Now try something fun. In a warm climate. With the ocean lapping in the background. Palm trees. Soft tropical breezes. Sunshine. I could keep going but it's time to drip the faucets so the pipes don't freeze.

never!

I heard if you don't act your age by 50, you don't have to. That's my plan. Age is a number. Kudos to you for trying.

I have a friend who does BodyCombat and BodyPump. The pump class is weights. She also does BodyStep, not sure what that is but it sounds aerobic? Don't give up! It took me years to find my niche. I've done weight machines, step classes, spin classes, elliptical, treadmill, went through 3 gyms before I found the one that clicked for me. Do you have access to a water aerobic class? That's almost zero impact, your hips might love the break from gravity.
