Got the news

Well my pacer clinic folks told me I am within spitting distance to getting a new unit. First replacement I am hoping they let me have the old one.

You can ask for the PM. Medtronics likes to take the unit and do a final read and analysis of the unit. To see where and if there were any problems. They should give you a department to contact at Medtronic. Supposedly they'll return the unit to you once they're finished with it.

I asked my doctor and he gave it to me. I keep it for old times sake.

I thought I'd read somewhere that they could be reconditioned and used in the third world or on animals?
