What a breeze

I had a medtronics pace maker put in on Tuesday 10/4/2011.This was a event free and painless operation. I was awake and talking during the whole procedure.Afterwards only took 3 pain pills and feel like a new person Jerry

So wonderful that you are feeling so great so quickly! I had my PM put in 1 day prior to yours.

Best wishes to you,
Debi

Really pleased for you!

Hi. I'm really pleased for you. I had a Medtronic MRI compatible, dual chamber, PM put in 3 weeks ago & felt great straight away too.....so I know how you feel. It is fantastic.

I had a bit of a "set back" a week later (but not directly related to PM, more of an emotional impact thing) BUT I am feeling great again now in week 3.

I had mine for sick sinus with chronotropic incompetence, so my HR was low & didn't go up much on exertion. Since the PM I have my life back....I can walk & function again. So I know what you mean when you say you feel like a new person. It's fantastic.

Amazing too you only needed 3 painkillers! Well done!

I hope you continue to feel great & enjoy your new life with your PM. Best thing I ever did was get mine.

Well done!

Best wishes
Janey

Good going

I told my dentist that I would prefer the pacer surgery any day to a root canal. Didn't make him happy.

It's sure great staying awake isn't it. When they turned mine on I could have jumped off the table and run around the room.

best,

frank

good luck to all new pacers!!!!

You know you're wired when...

Bad hair days can be blamed on your device shorting out.
