Hey guys! Since the weather is starting to get warmer.. I have been experiencing some dizziness and sob.. I have been really good lately.. The only time I have felt horrible is when it starts to get hot out. I called the doctor to let him know I haven't been feeling good and he thinks its low blood pressure and being on a beta blocker makes your blood pressure even lower. I never had a problem with low blood pressure even had a title table testing done and it was normal .. I have been drinking tons of liquids and trying to eat some salt when I feel like I'm about to go down but it doesn't seem to help .. Does anyone experienced this? If so what other things can you do to prevent feeling this way or at least help it? I feel selfish trying to feel 100 percent .. I have improved so much and hate to complain about this but it does make this a little harder being at work on my feet! Thank you for reading! Hope everyone is doing good!

Low BP

Hi,
I have had very low BP my whole life and was told by my dr to increase salt and fluids when it's hot. Gatorade etc are also good as they replace the electrolytes lost with sweating.
But if you feel crap, lay down with your feet raised on a pillow, chair, etc
Good luck, low BP sucks

Yes, a beta blocker can definitely bring your bp down too low! Do you have a monitor? It's a good idea to have one so you can check. Mine was the low side of normal without bb's, now I have to keep an eye on it that it doesn't get too low. Staying hydrated is the best thing, prevention is easier than dealing with dips.
Have you tried coconut water? It's full of potassium, much more so than bananas and sports drinks. I also found electrolyte tablets at a running store that you can add to water. They're more for hydrating but it may help.
Yes, you absolutely should aim for 100%!!!! You may not get it but how do you know if you settle for less?
