Lead alert system going off

I have one of the Sprint Fidelis recalled leads. The past two days the alert system (sounds like French ambulance) has gone off at 10:10 a.m. & I have sent transmissions from home. The nurse at my cardiologist's office says my lead is OK, but my battery is low. I thought the alert was related to lead fracturing and not the battery. Has anyone had any experience with the two-toned alert going off? Has it been related to battery failure?

I don't how yours is set, I also have one of the rcalled leads. They told me that for battery etc, mine would alarm at 5;00 PM (my selected time) if it detects a lead failure it will alarm every 4 hours. at 8;00 12;00; 4;00 etc. so it just depends how yours is programed.

How long have you had your system in?

I had one of the recalled leads and my alarm did go off (every 4 hours). Unfortunately it was Thanksgiving and I couldn't get ahold of my cardiologist. I got ahold of the cardiologist on call and was told that it was most likely alarming due to a low battery. I had to wait until the following Monday to get in to my cardiologist. Mine ended up being a fractured lead and it had to be extracted. I was told that mine was programed to start alarming 3 months before the battery dies. Since you have sent transmissions from home and have been told that it is a low battery I would believe them. However personally I would also make an appointment to go and see the cardiologist. Just as a safe measure. Good luck and I hope everything turns out ok.
