I don't know about walkerd, but I still have the same question: Why do you want steroids? Why do you want these "maximum gains?"

Sorry -- I know this is a mutual support site, but I'd like to support you building normal healthy muscle mass, keeping your cardiovascular system in shape, and living a long, healthy, happy life.

That could be difficult with some of the side effects of steroid use.

You can find lots of websites that tell you how it's not that harmful, and how you can use steroids "safely," etc. But you can also find a lot of credible fitness and medical sources that advise against it. Especially since one of the suspected problems can be left ventricular (LV) hypertrophy -- something you should probably be concerned about.

I'm not a doctor or anybody with medical training. Just an old guy who tries to keep in shape.

I would hope you'd think twice about illegal, non-medical steroid use. Please -- before you do it, ask your doctor, or at least spend a few hours on exercise and medical advice sites.

May you live long, stay well, and achieve your goals. :>)

are you hypoganadic?

by biceps72 - 2011-07-26 12:07:40

no reason at all to take anabolic steroids unless you are hypogonadic. The simple answer is yes you can take exogenous testosterone IF YOU NEED IT. IMO it would not be wise to take anabolic steroids unless your body is not producing testosterine naturally.

Anabolic Steroids

Your pacemaker couldn't less if you drank carbolic acid, but your stomach will, for starters. The same goes for your pacemaker and anabolic steroids. But users of anabolic steroids face a variety of potential heart related complications, among which are an increased risk of heart attacks and the possibility of coronary disease and death.

I had a pacemaker when I was 11. I never once thought I wasn't a 'normal kid' nor was I ever treated differently because of it. I could do everything all my friends were doing; I just happened to have a battery attached to my heart to help it work.
