zipline

does anyone know if going ziplining presents any problems for a pacemaker? I have had it in now for 10 months. Thanks Ron.

Can't die

So far no one with an ICD has reported dying. That would be a shocking experience.

By the way the zipline is just a new name for an old system. I can't remember where is was, but back in the 70's I rode a chair suspended from a cable across one of the larger western rivers to a gauging station. Might have been the Colorado River below Hoover Dam. As long as the cable and fittings are in good shape it's no more dangerous than driving across the Golden Gate Bridge.

Have fun. By this point there isn't much you could do to disturb the leads, definitely not a zipline, no centrifugal force, no jerks.

You know you're wired when...

You have a T-shirt that reads “Wired4Sound”.

It is just over 10 years since a dual lead device was implanted for complete heart block. It has worked perfectly and I have traveled well near two million miles internationally since then.
