I always appreciate your comments on this site and I learn so much from them, regardless of whether they are directed at me. So thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience!
I was reading a comment you left for someone else related to exercise and upper limits of PMs and I was struck by a particular sentence included in your post. I was wondering if you could elaborate on it. You said "Keep in mind that there is often a small overshoot when you stop an exercise so make allowance for it." Please forgive my ignorance on such things, but did you mean that the heart rate actually increases after exercise is done and that this is normal? If so, how long does the increased heart rate typically last and how much of an overshoot should be expected? At what point, if any, should there be concern over an overshoot?
Thanks in advance for any information!
Jenny

My eight year old son had a pacemaker since he was 6 months old. He does very well, plays soccer, baseball, and rides his bike. I am so glad he is not ashamed of his pacemaker. He will proudly show his "battery" to anyone.
