I've had a St. Jude pacemaker for just a month. I am wondering exactly what information Merlin transmits to my doctor's office.

Merlin Report

I have a Medronics am more familiar with it, but they all are similar.
The actual items recorded for report are programmable so they vary from person to person depending on your condition. Common ones are Battery Voltage, Battery Impedance, Mode Switching, a running count of PVC's, High rate episodes, and sometimes an ECG type graph taken from pacemaker-heart leads.
The best way to learn more about it is to request that a copy of the reports are mailed to you. I have a running agreement that they mail each phone check report and give me a copy of each office report. In the office they give me the pre and post programming reports so I can see what has happened during the last interval, and also see what changes were made. They are sometimes reluctant to give you the reports, but most states and some federal laws require it so start off nice and be prepared to be assertive if necessary. There are several of us here on the forum that can help you understand the meaning of the readings.
best,
