ultra sound treatment devices

I have a Versa DR pacemaker in my left chest area. would the use of the ultra sound device have any harm or interference on the pacemaker. the ultra sound would be used on the right budick

where is a budick?

I looked up budick and could not find it as anything but a surname. Perhaps I am missing something here?

I think there is a typo there or maybe Frank is just shy and didn't want to spell out buttocks.

Anyway, Frank don't worry about the ultrasound having any effect on your PM. I have one done on my heart at last twice a year and the transponder gets within 6 inches of my PM and there is no problem.

By the way my pM is also a Medtronic Versa.

The doctors used one on me a week ago to tune my CRT-D. That is when they found that my heart takes off to the races for no reason. Way to fast for the PM side to do any good. I am now also on Tikosyn. I feel a bit better now that the PM is working.
