itch

hello all hope everyone is doing good ,,,and HAPPY THANKSGIVING ,,, Just a quick question my insision is itcy like crazy can you put anything on it like anti itch cream...

Surprised about itching

Your bio says you've had a PM since 2005? So I'd really be surprised if your PM pocket would be itching after you've had it that long. Is there another part to your comments we haven't heard? Did you recently get a PM replacement after having a previous one?

Per GingerVa I also was told no lotions or creams on the incision until after it completely healed.

After my incision completely healed and I was back to more extensive exercise my PM pocket would itch sometimes. If it got real bad I used a cold compress to dampen the feelings. I feel the itching was due to the PM pocket being stretched because I was more active.

If I had been exercising to rigorously my PM pocket would hurt. I'd take tylenol for the pain. Occasionally would use cold compresses too.

Hi theknotguy I just had a new pacemaker a bit over a week ago and it had a tiny infection but antibiotics seemed to take care of that ,that is why its itching
