Does anyone know specifically what history your PM keeps?

Pacemaker

I have had my pacemaker for more than 2 years and I have learned what it does.
The first thing is it stops your heart rate from going below 60 beats per minute, the second thing is does is records all activity such as how many times you went to a-fib, it records the dates and time and how long you are in a-fib, this is used to help doctors figure out how to treat the a-fib.
Pacemaker internal data

I have a Medtronics pacer, but I suspect your Boston Scientific is very similar. Data collection is programmable so it depends what they told it to collect. In my case it records things like afib, PVC's, mode changes, and the pacing voltage determined at each self test.
Like they say "your result may vary".
If you are interested in knowing ask for a copy of the pre and post checkup report at your next office check. The pre-programing report will show the data and you can have fun worrying over it. LOL

Yesterday was my first day mountain biking after my implant. I wiped out several times and everything is fine. There are sports after pacemakers!
PVC?

I went to my cardio once a few months ago thinking I was into A-Fib and after they downloaded my ICD (medtronic) I was SURPRISED to see I had ERO PVC events since installation...I was CONVINCED I was in A-Fib the day before but wasnt.
So any idea what it was?
1. Heart was beating strongly. So strong that I couldnt ignore it
2. I had a little difficulty breathing, like a panic attack when it hits. During quiet times usually.
3. I was emotionally exhausted from it. Probably because I got scared of going back into the hospital to fix something that went wrong.....
Any ideas?
TIA
