Just wondering...
if magnets need to be kept away from the pm, does that mean I shouldn't lean my back against the refrigerator door?? Just wondering, since here I am sitting on a kitchen floor, leaning against the fridge door... o.O

Why are sitting on the floor? I meant what are you doing with the floor and the fridge?

and then there are the magnets that hold the door closed, or do they? I guess the real question is - do you feel different from your usual equilibrium? If not, no sweat unless you're always dizzy...or?
Ugh..Magnets!!

and another question about refrigerators

Whenever I close the refrigerator door, the light goes out.
Is it my PM causing this ? ...could it be that there are two clashing electro magnetic fields , one from the PM and one from all the magnets on the door ? I have written to Medtronic about this and haven't had a reply !

And another.....

Explain please Ianâ¦
How do you know the light goes out when you shut the fridge door??? How do we know if the butter and cheese are afraid of the dark and put the light on?? Who knows what goes on behind closed doorsâ¦.
And just to addâ¦.I've been retired for eight months now and, in case anybody was wondering, a watched pot does boilâ¦â¦â¦â¦..More experiments to follow.
I hope everyone is well and ticking...

For some time I suspected that my sons were stealing beers from my fridge so I cut a panel out of the door and fitted a window . My plans were thwarted because every time I went to count the beers I noticed that the light had gone out !

Hey Patch,
You are correct Patch, my wife had tried 36 magnets stacked on my chest in an attempt to commit the perfect crime and as you can see it failed. She keeps talking about adding 6 or 8 each each week. I think her goal is 64 (yrs we have been married) and if that doesn't do the job, well believe me there will be no S&W lying around this house.
Now will you do me a favor and not make any suggestions of other things for her to try.
Thank you,
Smitty
Will I go hungry?

I have magnets all over my refrigerator, pictures of grand kids, notes, old sayings etc. Do you think I should remove them all or just have my wife go to the refrigerator for me? What do I do if she is not home?
I don't want to go hungry.
Jerry

Wow, um, I'm not sure if some of you are joking or nuts. I sit on the floor a lot rather than on chairs. It's an Asian thing. I think at the time I was either eating something in the kitchen, or I was petting my dog in my lap on the floor in the kitchen. I don't remember. At any rate, I didn't have any magnets stuck to the fridge door where I was leaning. Just the door itself.

Take a paper clip...and a magnet. Slowly push the magnet tword the paperclip...when the magnet pulls the paperclip to it...that's how far you should stay away from them.
