There is life after PM - Part 2

Hello everyone
As many of you know, I was introduced to "Pac-Man" last May. Since then, I gone back to swimming and participated in "La Coupe de Montreal", a relatively important competition here which, this year, involved 307 Masters level swimmers.
I did fairly well in my age group, shaving 2 seconds off my best time in the 200 meter IM (50 m butterfly / 50 m back / 50 m breaststroke / 50 m freestyle). The official results are not yet in, but I believe that I came in first in my age group for the 800 meter freestyle.
I am not writing this to brag. It's just that I read so so many postings from people who worry about the changes that a PM may bring to their lives. I want those people to know that they can resume a normal, active lifestyle after surgery.
If no one has any objection, I'll post my swimming results from time to time as a reminder.
Regards to all
Edouard

Thanks for posting your results. Those of us who have done well after a pacemaker are an example of what life can be like. We have wide range of abilities, but the important thing is that we get back to life and enjoy ourselves.

Edouardo,

Congratulations from a fellow Master's swimmer! Your accomplishment is certainly something to brag about! Way to go. I have been out of the pool for 8 weeks...two more to go :). Just in time for the cooler weather here in Texas.

This is a great post for those who wonder what life is like after their PM.
