large hematoma & swelling

today was a week & I still have a very large hematoma & a lot of swelling has anyone else had this problem with there battery change surgery? I also found out I am probably when this heals need to ad another wire

Husband had ICD replacement. He too had enormous hematoma and swelling at site. No fever. Surgeon said that body will absorb all that extra fluid. Two months post op, everything is back to normal. Area was raised in clavicle area. 6 months post op, I can't even feel the device. God Bless You...Mary
